عن الكلية

تُعد الكلية التقنية الشطرة إحدى تشكيلات الجامعة التقنية الجنوبية التابعة لوزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي، وقد تأسست في العام الدراسي 2020–2021 بعد استحصال الموافقات الأصولية لاستحداثها، لتكون صرحاً أكاديمياً متخصصاً في إعداد الكوادر التقنية المؤهلة وفق أحدث المعايير العلمية والتطبيقية، وبما يسهم في دعم مسيرة التعليم التقني وخدمة المجتمع.

تقع الكلية في قضاء الشطرة بمحافظة ذي قار في جمهورية العراق، وتعمل على توفير بيئة تعليمية وبحثية متطورة تُسهم في إعداد خريجين يمتلكون المعرفة العلمية والمهارات التقنية التي تلبي احتياجات سوق العمل، فضلاً عن دعم البحث العلمي والإسهام في خدمة المجتمع والتنمية المستدامة.

About the College

Shatra Technical College is one of the constituent colleges of the Southern Technical University, operating under the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Republic of Iraq. Established in the 2020–2021 academic year following the completion of all official approvals, the College was founded as a specialized academic institution dedicated to preparing highly qualified technical professionals in accordance with modern scientific and applied standards, thereby contributing to the advancement of technical education and community development.

Located in Al-Shatra District, Dhi Qar Governorate, Republic of Iraq, the College provides an advanced educational and research environment that equips students with the scientific knowledge and practical skills required to meet the evolving demands of the labor market. In addition, the College is committed to promoting scientific research and supporting sustainable community development.
